Day Nineteen
I'd been camped out for the past week at the Van Mall RV Park in Vancouver, WA and it was time to leave. I had really enjoyed being in one place for a while. Cavan contacted me early before I'd left to see if I'd found his favourite Tilley hat in my truck. When I checked, there it was under the passenger seat so before leaving Portland I swung by Portland State University, where he is the lead groundskeeper, and dropped off his hat. It was tough saying goodbye but I'm hoping Cavan and Angie can make it up to Muskoka for Christmas this year so it won't be too long before I see them again.
Today was pretty uneventful. I had booked two nights at the Brookings RV Park in Brookings, OR.
I arrived around 6:00 pm. The people were extremely helpful and I was all set up in no time.
I heated up some cold pizza leftover from Thursday night and enjoyed some wine leftover from Friday night, checked my email and went to bed.
